  1. Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department, including managing staff, inventory, and schedules.
  2. Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy operations.
  3. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in pharmacy services.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing any concerns or issues.
  5. Train and mentor pharmacy staff to maintain a high level of performance and customer satisfaction.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications and supplies.
  7. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with all pharmacy policies and procedures.
  8. Collaborate with other departments within the company to promote and market pharmacy services to members.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations to ensure the pharmacy is in compliance.
  10. Handle escalated customer complaints or issues, and work to resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Maintain accurate records and documentation of pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing and patient information.
  12. Monitor and manage the pharmacy budget, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing cost-control measures.
  13. Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering teamwork and a strong work ethic.
  14. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to pharmacy staff.
  15. Keep abreast of new developments and advancements in pharmacy technology, and make recommendations for implementation as appropriate.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Related Field: A Pharmacy Manager At Costco Wholesale Should Possess A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or A Related Field To Ensure A Strong Foundation In Pharmaceutical Knowledge And Principles.

  • Active Pharmacist License: The Candidate Should Have An Active License To Practice Pharmacy In The State Where The Costco Wholesale Location Is Located. This Ensures That They Are Qualified To Dispense Medication And Provide Pharmaceutical Services.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Licensed Pharmacist: Costco Wholesale Prefers Candidates With At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Licensed Pharmacist, With A Strong Understanding Of Retail Pharmacy Operations.

  • Previous Management Or Leadership Experience: As A Pharmacy Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Pharmacists And Technicians. Therefore, Previous Experience In A Management Or Leadership Role Is Preferred.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills: Working In A Retail Environment, A Pharmacy Manager At Costco Wholesale Should Have Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Staff, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
