
Pharmacy Manager

- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department, including managing inventory, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate records.
- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Hire, train, and evaluate pharmacy staff, providing ongoing coaching and development to ensure a high level of performance and customer service.
- Monitor and analyze sales and prescription data to make informed decisions about inventory management, pricing, and staffing.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and marketing, to develop and execute strategies to increase pharmacy sales and profitability.
- Maintain relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and product availability.
- Ensure that all pharmacy staff members are knowledgeable about the products and services offered by Costco Wholesale, and are able to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with all safety and health regulations.
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, and work to resolve any issues to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in laws and regulations related to pharmacy operations.
- Monitor and control department expenses, including labor costs, inventory waste, and other operational expenses.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a strong customer service mindset.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient and company information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in company meetings and training programs as required.
Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree
Current And Valid State Pharmacy License
Previous Experience In Managing A Pharmacy Team
