  1. Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department to ensure efficient and effective workflows.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of pharmacists and technicians, providing ongoing training and support.
  3. Maintain a high level of patient care and customer service, ensuring all members are treated with respect and compassion.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to increase pharmacy sales and achieve financial targets.
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of medications and supplies.
  6. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all pharmacy transactions.
  8. Collaborate with other departments within the store to promote cross-selling opportunities.
  9. Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Stay informed about new medications and developments in the pharmaceutical industry, and make recommendations for new products or services.
  11. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to ensure high levels of productivity and job satisfaction.
  12. Work closely with the store management team to achieve overall store goals and objectives.
  13. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following all health and safety protocols.
  14. Keep up-to-date with insurance changes and billing procedures, and ensure accurate and timely submission of insurance claims.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture by promoting teamwork, communication, and mutual respect among team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Related Field: A Pharmacy Manager At Costco Wholesale Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or A Related Field. This Ensures That They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Manage The Pharmacy Department Effectively.

  • Active Pharmacy License: The Pharmacy Manager Should Hold A Current And Active Pharmacy License In The State Where Costco Wholesale Operates. This Is A Legal Requirement To Dispense Prescription Medication And Oversee Pharmacy Operations.

  • Experience In A Managerial Role: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In A Managerial Role, Preferably In A Pharmacy Setting. This Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Lead A Team And Manage Day-To-Day Operations Effectively.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Pharmacy Manager At Costco Wholesale, Effective Communication Is Crucial. They Must Be Able To Communicate With Patients, Staff, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Professional And Courteous Manner.

  • Knowledge Of Pharmacy Laws And Regulations: A Pharmacy Manager Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To The Practice Of Pharmacy. This Includes Knowledge Of Controlled Substances, Medication Dispensing, And Patient Privacy Laws.
