As a Pharmacy Manager at Costco, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our pharmacy department.   1. Oversee all aspects of the pharmacy department, including staffing, inventory management, and financial performance.
  2. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to pharmacy operations.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards in patient care and customer service.
  4. Train, supervise, and evaluate a team of pharmacists and technicians to ensure they are providing exceptional service to members.
  5. Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure the availability of necessary medications and supplies.
  6. Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and efficiency in dispensing medications.
  7. Collaborate with other departments within the store to promote and support the pharmacy department.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in pharmaceuticals to make informed decisions regarding patient care and inventory.
  9. Maintain accurate and complete records of all transactions and ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements.
  10. Handle any customer inquiries or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Monitor and analyze pharmacy performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  12. Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  13. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure accurate billing and prescription processing.
  14. Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay up-to-date with new developments in the field.
  15. Foster a positive and productive work environment for the pharmacy team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Doctor Of Pharmacy Degree: A Pharmacy Manager At Costco Wholesale Should Possess A Degree In Pharmacy From An Accredited Institution. This Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Pharmaceuticals And Their Use.
