- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to ensure the highest level of performance and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability of the pharmacy department.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions, inventory, and other relevant documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze pharmacy performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to achieve goals.

- Participate in recruitment, hiring, and training of new pharmacy team members.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to ensure the pharmacy department operates at its highest level of efficiency.
Bachelor's Or Advanced Degree In Pharmacy: The Candidate Should Possess A Degree In Pharmacy From An Accredited Institution. Advanced Degrees Such As Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Are Preferred.
State Pharmacy License: The Candidate Should Have A Valid State Pharmacy License And Must Be In Good Standing With The State Board Of Pharmacy.
Previous Experience In A Managerial Role: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Pharmacy Manager Or In A Similar Leadership Position Is Required. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team Of Pharmacists And Other Pharmacy Staff.
Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Prescription Processing, Inventory Management, And Compliance With State And Federal Regulations.
Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers, Healthcare Providers, And Other Team Members. They Should Also Have A Strong Focus On Providing Exceptional Customer Service And Maintaining A Positive Work Environment For The Pharmacy Team.
