  1. Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
  2. Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to ensure the highest level of performance and customer service.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability of the pharmacy department.
  4. Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and company policies and procedures.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions, inventory, and other relevant documentation.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  7. Monitor and analyze pharmacy performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to achieve goals.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations, and make recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  9. Collaborate with other departments within the company to promote a cohesive and efficient workflow.
  10. Conduct regular meetings with the pharmacy team to address any concerns, provide updates, and foster a positive work environment.
  11. Serve as a role model and mentor to pharmacy staff, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  12. Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Participate in recruitment, hiring, and training of new pharmacy team members.
  14. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to ensure the pharmacy department operates at its highest level of efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Advanced Degree In Pharmacy: The Candidate Should Possess A Degree In Pharmacy From An Accredited Institution. Advanced Degrees Such As Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Are Preferred.

  • State Pharmacy License: The Candidate Should Have A Valid State Pharmacy License And Must Be In Good Standing With The State Board Of Pharmacy.

  • Previous Experience In A Managerial Role: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Pharmacy Manager Or In A Similar Leadership Position Is Required. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team Of Pharmacists And Other Pharmacy Staff.

  • Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Prescription Processing, Inventory Management, And Compliance With State And Federal Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers, Healthcare Providers, And Other Team Members. They Should Also Have A Strong Focus On Providing Exceptional Customer Service And Maintaining A Positive Work Environment For The Pharmacy Team.
