Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Pharmd: A Pharmacy Manager At Costco Wholesale Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree.
Active Pharmacist License: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid And Active Pharmacist License In The State Where The Costco Wholesale Pharmacy Is Located.
Prior Managerial Experience: A Pharmacy Manager Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Managerial Role In A Retail Or Hospital Pharmacy Setting.
Knowledge Of Pharmacy Laws And Regulations: Costco Wholesale Requires Its Pharmacy Managers To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Federal And State Pharmacy Laws And Regulations, Including Hipaa And Fda Regulations.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Leader Of The Pharmacy Team, A Pharmacy Manager Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate Their Staff. They Should Also Have The Ability To Handle Customer Complaints And Resolve Any Issues That Arise In A Professional And Efficient Manner.
