- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department, including inventory management, medication dispensing, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and profitability of the pharmacy department.
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of pharmacy staff to ensure a high level of customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure the smooth processing of prescriptions.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations governing the practice of pharmacy, including HIPAA and FDA guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze pharmacy data to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate measures to enhance performance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to pharmacy operations, including prescription records, inventory logs, and employee schedules.
- Collaborate with other departments within the store to promote and market the pharmacy department and its services to members.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new medications, and changes to regulations, and implement necessary changes to ensure the highest level of care for members.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any member concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in company meetings and trainings to stay informed about company policies, procedures, and goals.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment where all team members feel supported and motivated to deliver exceptional service.
- Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by upper management to contribute to the overall success of the store.
Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Related Field
Active State Pharmacist License
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Pharmacy Manager In A Retail Setting
Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Manage A Team Of Pharmacists And Technicians
