We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team and oversee the operations of our pharmacy department.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department and ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  2. Lead and manage a team of pharmacy professionals, including pharmacists and technicians, by providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  3. Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other providers, to promote the pharmacy department and drive business growth.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and order medications and supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.
  6. Ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of medications and provide consultation to patients on proper usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy department and ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation standards.
  8. Develop and implement strategies to increase patient satisfaction and loyalty, including providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or complaints.
  9. Monitor and analyze pharmacy metrics, such as prescription volume and sales, to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  10. Collaborate with other departments, such as merchandising and marketing, to develop and implement promotions and events to drive pharmacy sales.
  11. Stay updated on industry developments and best practices and ensure the pharmacy department is in compliance with all industry standards.
  12. Represent Costco in community events and initiatives related to healthcare and promote the company's commitment to providing affordable and high-quality products and services.
  13. Participate in budget planning and management for the pharmacy department and ensure financial targets are met.
  14. Train and educate pharmacy staff on new products, services, and procedures to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible care to patients.
  15. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment and lead by example in demonstrating the company's values and culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Related Field

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Inventory Management And Regulatory Compliance

  • Valid State Pharmacist License

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Managing A Pharmacy Department

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Provide Exceptional Customer Service.
