  1. Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department, including managing staff schedules, ensuring proper inventory levels, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  2. Train and mentor pharmacy staff to provide excellent customer service and promote a positive work culture.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to increase pharmacy sales and drive business growth.
  4. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy operations, including record-keeping and dispensing procedures.
  5. Serve as a point of contact for customers, addressing any questions or concerns and providing guidance on medications and healthcare products.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure a seamless and efficient shopping experience for members.
  7. Stay current on industry developments and make recommendations for updates or changes to improve operations and customer satisfaction.
  8. Monitor and analyze pharmacy metrics, such as sales and inventory levels, to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  9. Manage budgets and expenses for the pharmacy department, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  10. Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and excellence within the pharmacy department and across the store.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Related Field: A Pharmacy Manager At Costco Wholesale Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or A Related Field. This Educational Background Will Ensure They Have A Strong Understanding Of Pharmaceuticals And The Ability To Manage A Pharmacy Team Effectively.

  • Valid State Pharmacy License: A Pharmacy Manager Must Have A Valid State Pharmacy License To Practice And Dispense Medication. This Ensures They Are Knowledgeable About State Regulations And Can Adhere To All Legal Requirements.

  • Previous Experience In Pharmacy Management: Costco Wholesale Prefers Candidates With Previous Experience In Pharmacy Management. This Includes Overseeing Daily Operations, Managing Inventory, And Supervising A Team Of Pharmacists And Technicians.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Pharmacy Manager, One Must Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Pharmacists And Technicians. This Includes The Ability To Motivate, Delegate, And Communicate Effectively.

  • Knowledge Of Inventory Management And Purchasing: Costco Wholesale Is A High-Volume Retailer, And The Pharmacy Manager Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management And Purchasing To Ensure The Pharmacy Runs Efficiently. This Includes Monitoring Stock Levels, Ordering Medications, And Managing Inventory Budgets.
