- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring the highest level of customer service and patient care.
- Manage a team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely ordering and restocking of medications and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing pharmacy operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and prescription information.
- Handle and resolve any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within Costco to ensure a seamless and positive member experience.
- Stay updated on industry developments and trends, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and a strong work ethic among staff members.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Pharmacy Manager In A High-Volume Retail Pharmacy Setting.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Motivate And Develop A Team Of Pharmacists And Pharmacy Technicians.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Inventory Management, Prescription Processing, And Compliance With State And Federal Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Costco Team Members.
Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or A Related Field, And Current Licensure As A Pharmacist In The State Where The Costco Location Is Located.
