- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department, including managing staff, inventory, and budget.
- Ensure that all pharmacy services are provided in accordance with state and federal laws, company policies, and industry standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity within the pharmacy department.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of pharmacy transactions, including prescriptions filled, inventory levels, and sales.
- Train and supervise pharmacy staff to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within the company to promote and integrate pharmacy services into overall business operations.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuously improve pharmacy services.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with members, healthcare providers, and other external stakeholders.
- Address and resolve any customer concerns or complaints related to pharmacy services.
- Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff on complex or difficult prescriptions and patient inquiries.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to ensure a high level of employee engagement, motivation, and development.
- Participate in the hiring process of new pharmacy staff and make recommendations for promotions and terminations when necessary.
- Collaborate with the company's marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities and campaigns for pharmacy services.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times, promoting the company's values and mission.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Licensed Pharmacist
Demonstrated Leadership And Management Experience In A Retail Pharmacy Setting
Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Inventory Management And Regulatory Compliance
Bachelor's Or Doctor Of Pharmacy Degree From An Accredited Institution
