  1. Provide exceptional customer service to all members and customers at Costco Wholesale.
  2. Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  3. Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy operations.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  5. Educate patients and customers on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  6. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability of necessary medications.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records.
  8. Participate in the development and implementation of wellness programs and initiatives.
  9. Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in pharmaceuticals.
  10. Communicate effectively with other team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
  11. Provide guidance and support to pharmacy technicians and other staff members.
  12. Actively participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  13. Promote a positive and welcoming environment for all members and customers.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  15. Continuously assess and improve pharmacy processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy: A Pharmacist-Registered At Costco Wholesale Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy From An Accredited Institution. This Degree Provides The Necessary Education And Training In Pharmaceuticals, Pharmacology, And Patient Care.

  • State License: All Pharmacists Must Be Licensed By The State In Which They Practice. A Pharmacist-Registered At Costco Wholesale Must Possess A Current And Valid License To Practice Pharmacy In The State Where The Costco Wholesale Warehouse Is Located.

  • Knowledge Of Pharmaceuticals: A Pharmacist-Registered At Costco Wholesale Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Pharmaceuticals, Drug Interactions, And Medication Management. They Should Also Be Knowledgeable About New Drugs And Their Effects On Patients.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Pharmacist, One Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Members Of The Pharmacy Team. A Pharmacist-Registered At Costco Wholesale Must Possess Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Provide Accurate And Clear Instructions To Patients And Team Members.

  • Attention To Detail: Pharmacists Are Responsible For Dispensing Medications Accurately And Safely. They Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail To Ensure That The Right Medication, Dosage, And Instructions Are Given To Patients. A Pharmacist-Registered At Costco Wholesale Must Have Exceptional Attention To Detail To Avoid Medication Errors And Ensure Patient Safety.
