1. Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to Costco members in accordance with all federal and state laws and regulations.
2. Conduct patient consultations and provide medication therapy management to ensure safe and effective medication use.
3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to optimize patient care.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication profiles and interactions.
5. Monitor inventory levels and order medications as needed to ensure availability for members.
6. Educate members on the proper use and storage of medications, as well as potential side effects and interactions.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and handling of medications.
8. Stay informed on new medications, dosage forms, and pharmacy practices through continuing education and training.
9. Adhere to Costco’s high standards of customer service and professionalism when interacting with members and colleagues.
10. Comply with all Costco policies and procedures, including those related to safety, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
11. Participate in quality assurance programs and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
12. Serve as a mentor and resource for pharmacy technicians and other staff members.
13. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success and growth of the pharmacy department.
