- Collaborating with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure efficient and accurate processing of prescriptions.
- Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall pharmacy experience for members.
- Ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy operations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy workspace, adhering to all sanitation and hygiene standards.
- Assisting with training and mentoring new pharmacy team members.
- Proactively identifying and resolving any operational or workflow issues to ensure efficient and effective pharmacy operations.
- Continuously seeking ways to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall member experience.
Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Is Required To Become A Registered Pharmacist At Costco Wholesale. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Pharmaceutical Sciences And Is Equipped With The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Carry Out Their Duties Effectively.
State Licensure: All Pharmacists At Costco Wholesale Must Hold A Valid And Current State License To Practice Pharmacy. This Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met The Educational And Professional Requirements Set By The State And Is Legally Authorized To Dispense Medication.
