7. Process insurance claims and assist members with insurance-related issues, such as prior authorizations and formulary restrictions.
8. Oversee inventory management and ensure proper storage and handling of medications to maintain their efficacy.
9. Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of pharmacy, including new medications, drug interactions, and best practices.
10. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of pharmacy services at Costco.
11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws and regulations, to maintain a safe and ethical work environment.
12. Manage a team of pharmacy technicians and support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations of the pharmacy department.
13. Collaborate with the pharmacy manager and other department leaders to develop and implement strategies to improve member satisfaction and drive business growth.
14. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing the values and mission of Costco Wholesale.
