- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the store is clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections of the store's facilities and equipment to identify any potential issues or repairs needed.
- Respond promptly to any maintenance requests or issues raised by team members or customers.
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance work as needed, including but not limited to fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and changing light bulbs.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies, and inform management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any maintenance needs or concerns.
- Assist in setting up and taking down displays and fixtures as needed.
- Attend training sessions and keep up-to-date with product knowledge in order to provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times, and contribute to creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for members.
Knowledge Of General Maintenance Procedures: A Maintenance Assistant At Costco Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Various Maintenance Tasks, Such As Plumbing, Electrical Work, And Carpentry.
Physical Fitness And Strength: This Role May Involve Heavy Lifting And Physical Labor, So Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform Manual Tasks.
