- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks within the warehouse, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of all public areas, restrooms, and break rooms, ensuring they are always well-stocked and presentable.
- Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse to identify any potential maintenance issues or safety hazards, and take appropriate action to resolve them.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies, and communicate any needs or shortages to the appropriate manager.
- Respond promptly and professionally to any customer inquiries or concerns regarding the cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks, and report any safety concerns to the appropriate manager.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down displays and promotional materials as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers and team members, and represent Costco Wholesale in a positive manner at all times.
- Continuously strive to improve and maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the warehouse, taking pride in creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping environment for customers.
Experience In Maintenance And Repair Work: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience In Maintenance And Repair Work, Preferably In A Retail Or Warehouse Environment.
Knowledge Of Building Systems: A Strong Understanding Of Hvac, Electrical, Plumbing, And Other Building Systems Is Important For A Maintenance Assistant Role At Costco Wholesale.
Ability To Troubleshoot And Problem-Solve: Maintenance Assistants Should Be Able To Identify, Diagnose, And Solve Maintenance Issues In A Timely And Efficient Manner.
Physical Fitness And Dexterity: The Job May Involve Lifting Heavy Objects, Standing For Long Periods Of Time, And Working In Tight Spaces, So Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform Manual Labor Tasks.
