- Conduct regular audits and inspections of merchandise, cash registers, and other high-risk areas to identify potential security breaches.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement security measures and procedures.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and respond to any suspicious or unusual activity.
- Train and educate store employees on loss prevention strategies and procedures.
- Investigate and document any incidents of theft or fraud, including gathering evidence and communicating with law enforcement if necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all security-related incidents and reports.
- Communicate effectively with customers and employees to address any security concerns or issues.
- Conduct periodic inventory checks and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention and make recommendations for improvements.
- Attend meetings and training sessions to stay informed of store policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment for all employees and customers.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to loss prevention and safety.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by store management.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Identify Potential Loss Or Theft Situations.
Knowledge Of Store Procedures, Security Systems, And Inventory Management.
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, To Effectively Report Any Suspicious Activity To Management.
Familiarity With Basic Computer Programs And Ability To Navigate Through Digital Surveillance Systems.
Previous Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Warehouse Setting.
