- Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the Costco Wholesale store, including the protection of members, employees, and merchandise.
- Conduct routine security checks and surveillance of store premises to identify potential risks and prevent loss.
- Effectively respond to and handle any security incidents or emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents and report any suspicious activities or behaviors to the appropriate authorities.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify any security vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Train and educate employees on security protocols and best practices to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for our members.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures, especially related to loss prevention and security.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information related to security matters.
- Continuously stay updated on industry trends, new security technologies, and best practices to enhance the overall security of the store.
- Serve as a positive and approachable ambassador for Costco Wholesale, providing excellent customer service to members and employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Loss Prevention Supervisor or management team.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Retail Loss Prevention Or Security Role.
Knowledge Of Cctv Systems And Other Security Equipment.
Ability To Work Flexible Hours, Including Nights And Weekends.
