  1. Monitor and patrol the store premises to identify and prevent any potential theft or loss of merchandise.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inventory checks to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  3. Collaborate with store management and other team members to implement and enforce loss prevention policies and procedures.
  4. Utilize CCTV and other surveillance equipment to monitor and identify suspicious activity.
  5. Communicate effectively with members, team members, and management to address any potential security concerns.
  6. Train and educate team members on loss prevention strategies and techniques.
  7. Investigate incidents of theft or loss and document findings in a timely and accurate manner.
  8. Maintain accurate records of all loss prevention activities and reports.
  9. Work closely with law enforcement and other external partners to resolve any security-related incidents.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention techniques.
  11. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
  12. Provide excellent customer service to members and address any concerns or questions related to loss prevention.
  13. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  14. Assist in the implementation of security measures during special events or busy periods.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Procedures: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Strategies And Techniques, Including Cctv Monitoring, Inventory Control, And Theft Prevention.

  • Attention To Detail: A Loss Prevention Clerk Must Be Highly Detail-Oriented And Able To Identify Suspicious Behavior Or Discrepancies In Store Operations. They Should Also Be Able To Accurately Document Incidents And Maintain Organized Records.

  • Strong Communication Skills: This Role Involves Working Closely With Other Store Employees And Communicating Effectively With Management. The Candidate Should Be Able To Articulate Their Observations And Report Any Issues In A Clear And Concise Manner.

  • Ability To Maintain Confidentiality: Loss Prevention Clerks Handle Sensitive Information And Must Be Able To Maintain Confidentiality At All Times. This Includes Handling Investigations And Following Proper Protocol When Handling Evidence.

  • Physical Fitness: This Role May Require Standing For Long Periods, As Well As Lifting And Moving Heavy Objects. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Demands Of The Job. Additionally, They Should Be Able To Handle Potentially Confrontational Situations With Professionalism.
