Job Description

As a Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser at Costco Wholesale, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of our members by providing them with top-quality hearing aids and exceptional customer service.   1. Conduct hearing assessments and evaluations to determine the best hearing aid options for our members.
  2. Dispense and fit hearing aids according to the individual needs and preferences of each member.
  3. Educate members on proper care and maintenance of their hearing aids, including troubleshooting and repair services.
  4. Keep accurate records of member interactions and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies in hearing aid products.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive and welcoming environment for all members.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as audiologists and physicians, to ensure the best outcomes for our members.
  8. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to hearing aid dispensing.
  9. Participate in training and continuing education opportunities to improve knowledge and skills.
  10. Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure a fully stocked and efficient dispensing process.
  11. Handle member inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Develop and maintain relationships with members to foster trust and loyalty.
  13. Act as a brand ambassador for Costco Wholesale, promoting our values and commitment to member satisfaction.
  14. Assist with marketing and promotional activities to increase awareness and drive business growth.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.

Job Qualifications

  • State Licensure: A Valid License As A Hearing Aid Dispenser In The State Where The Costco Wholesale Location Is Located Is Required. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed The Necessary Education And Training To Dispense Hearing Aids And Comply With State Regulations.

  • Knowledge Of Hearing Aid Technology: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Different Types Of Hearing Aids, Their Features, And How To Properly Fit And Adjust Them For Customers. This Includes Knowledge Of The Latest Advancements In Hearing Aid Technology.

  • Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser, The Candidate Will Be Working Directly With Customers And Must Possess Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills. This Includes The Ability To Explain Complex Information In A Clear And Understandable Manner And Address Any Concerns Or Questions From Customers.

  • Sales Experience: Costco Wholesale Is A Retail Store, And The Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Sales Or A Strong Aptitude For Selling. This Includes The Ability To Identify Customer Needs, Make Product Recommendations, And Close Sales.

  • Teamwork And Collaboration: In Addition To Working With Customers, The Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser Will Also Collaborate With Other Costco Team Members, Such As Optometrists And Pharmacists. The Candidate Should Have Experience Working In A Team Environment And The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Colleagues To Provide The Best Customer Experience.
