  1. Conduct hearing tests and evaluations for members to determine their hearing needs.
  2. Recommend and fit appropriate hearing aids based on individual hearing loss and budget.
  3. Educate members on proper use and care of their hearing aids.
  4. Stay up-to-date on latest hearing aid technology and industry developments.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with members to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as audiologists and physicians, to provide comprehensive care for members.
  7. Maintain accurate records of member consultations and hearing aid fittings.
  8. Adhere to all state and federal regulations for hearing aid dispensing.
  9. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the hearing aid program at Costco Wholesale.
  10. Provide excellent customer service and address any member concerns or issues in a timely manner.
  11. Attend trainings and seminars to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of hearing aid dispensing.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Assist with inventory management and ordering of hearing aid supplies.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of member information and adhere to all privacy policies.
  15. Represent Costco Wholesale in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • A Valid State License: A Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser At Costco Wholesale Must Hold A Current And Valid License To Practice In The State Where The Store Is Located. This Ensures That The Dispenser Has Met All The Necessary Requirements And Regulations To Provide Hearing Aid Services.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Hearing Aid Technology: Candidates For This Job Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Latest Hearing Aid Technology And Be Able To Explain It To Customers. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Hearing Aid Brands, Features, And Benefits, As Well As Troubleshooting And Maintenance.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser Must Possess Exceptional Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Colleagues, And Healthcare Professionals. This Includes Active Listening, Empathy, And The Ability To Explain Complex Concepts In Simple Terms.

  • Sales Experience: As A Dispenser, The Candidate Will Also Need To Have A Strong Sales Background. This Includes Experience In Selling Hearing Aids Or Other Healthcare Products, As Well As The Ability To Meet Sales Targets And Build Relationships With Customers.

  • Customer Service Orientation: A Key Aspect Of This Role Is Providing Exceptional Customer Service. A Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser Must Have A Customer-Centric Mindset, Be Able To Work With A Diverse Range Of Clients, And Have A Genuine Desire To Help People Improve Their Quality Of Life Through Better Hearing.
