  1. Dispense hearing aids to Costco Wholesale members in accordance with state regulations and company policies.
  2. Conduct hearing evaluations and recommend appropriate hearing aid solutions based on individual needs.
  3. Educate members on hearing aid use, care, and maintenance.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with members.
  5. Maintain accurate records of member interactions and hearing aid orders.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for members.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in hearing aid technology.
  8. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in hearing aid dispensing.
  9. Meet sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the hearing care department.
  10. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards members, especially those with hearing impairments.
  11. Communicate effectively and professionally with members, colleagues, and other professionals.
  12. Take initiative in identifying and resolving member concerns or issues.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  14. Attend training and educational seminars to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  15. Uphold the values and mission of Costco Wholesale through all job duties and interactions.

Job Qualifications
  • State Licensure: A Valid License As A Hearing Aid Dispenser In The State In Which Costco Is Located Is Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Passed The Necessary Exams And Has Met The Qualifications Set By The State For Providing Hearing Aid Services.

  • Previous Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Hearing Aid Dispensing Is Preferred. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge And Expertise In The Field Of Hearing Aid Technology, As Well As Their Ability To Effectively Assist Customers With Their Hearing Needs.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role, As The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Customers And Their Families To Assess Their Hearing Needs And Provide Appropriate Solutions. This Includes The Ability To Explain Complex Technical Information In An Easy-To-Understand Manner.

  • Customer Service Oriented: Costco Places A Strong Emphasis On Providing Exceptional Customer Service, And This Is Especially Important For A Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser. Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Delivering High-Quality Customer Service And Be Able To Build Strong Relationships With Customers.

  • Knowledge Of Hearing Aid Technology: A Thorough Understanding Of The Latest Hearing Aid Technology And Features Is Necessary For This Role.
