State Licensure: A Valid License As A Hearing Aid Dispenser In The State In Which Costco Is Located Is Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Passed The Necessary Exams And Has Met The Qualifications Set By The State For Providing Hearing Aid Services.
Previous Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Hearing Aid Dispensing Is Preferred. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge And Expertise In The Field Of Hearing Aid Technology, As Well As Their Ability To Effectively Assist Customers With Their Hearing Needs.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role, As The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Customers And Their Families To Assess Their Hearing Needs And Provide Appropriate Solutions. This Includes The Ability To Explain Complex Technical Information In An Easy-To-Understand Manner.
