Welcome to Costco Wholesale! We are currently seeking a Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to serve our valued members by providing high-quality hearing aid services and products. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to improving the lives of others through better hearing. As a successful candidate, you must possess a valid state hearing aid dispenser license and have a strong knowledge of the latest hearing aid technology.   1. Conduct hearing screenings and assessments for members to determine their hearing needs.
  2. Recommend and dispense appropriate hearing aids based on individual member's needs and preferences.
  3. Provide fittings, adjustments, and follow-up care for hearing aids.
  4. Keep up-to-date with the latest hearing aid technology and products.
  5. Educate members on proper use and care of hearing aids.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all services provided.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as audiologists and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care for members.
  8. Build and maintain positive relationships with members, providing exceptional customer service.
  9. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines for hearing aid dispensing.
  10. Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
  11. Identify and address any issues or concerns raised by members regarding their hearing aids.
  12. Maintain inventory of hearing aid products and supplies.
  13. Attend team meetings and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  14. Uphold the values and mission of Costco Wholesale while representing the company in a professional manner.
  15. Strive to meet and exceed sales goals and targets set by the company.

Job Qualifications

  • A Valid State License: In Order To Practice As A Hearing Aid Dispenser At Costco Wholesale, Candidates Must Possess A Valid State License. This Ensures That They Have Completed The Necessary Education And Training To Dispense Hearing Aids And Are Authorized To Do So By The State.

  • Knowledge Of Hearing Aid Technology: Costco Wholesale Is Committed To Providing The Latest And Most Advanced Hearing Aid Technology To Its Customers. Therefore, Candidates For This Position Must Have A Strong Knowledge Of Different Types Of Hearing Aids, Their Features, And How To Properly Fit And Adjust Them For Optimal Performance.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Hearing Aid Dispenser At Costco Wholesale, One Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers Who May Have Varying Levels Of Hearing Impairment. This Includes Explaining Complex Technology In A Clear And Understandable Manner, As Well As Providing Guidance And Support Throughout The Fitting Process.

  • Customer Service Experience: Costco Wholesale Places A Strong Emphasis On Customer Service, And This Extends To Their Hearing Aid Department. Candidates For This Position Should Have Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role, As Well As A Genuine Desire To Help And Serve Others.

  • Attention To Detail: Dispensing Hearing Aids Requires A High Level Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail. Candidates Must Be Able To Carefully Follow Prescription Orders, Properly Fit And Adjust Hearing Aids, And Maintain Detailed Records Of Customer Information And Interactions.
