  1. Conduct hearing screenings and evaluations for customers seeking hearing aid solutions.
  2. Use knowledge of hearing aid technology to recommend and fit appropriate hearing aids for each individual's needs.
  3. Provide personalized counseling and education to customers on how to properly use and maintain their hearing aids.
  4. Continuously stay updated on advancements in hearing aid technology and incorporate them into customer recommendations.
  5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, hearing test results, and hearing aid fittings.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes for customers.
  7. Create and maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment for customers during their appointments.
  8. Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and ethical standards for hearing aid dispensing.
  10. Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
  11. Act as a brand ambassador for Costco Wholesale and promote the company's values and mission.
  12. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards customers and coworkers to promote a team-oriented work environment.
  13. Keep track of inventory and supplies and place orders as needed to ensure availability for customers.
  14. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to protect customers and coworkers.
  15. Continuously strive to improve overall customer satisfaction and retention rates.

Job Qualifications

  • State License: A Valid State License As A Hearing Aid Dispenser Is A Mandatory Requirement For This Position. The Candidate Should Have Completed All Necessary Education And Training To Obtain The License.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Hearing Aids: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Types Of Hearing Aids, Their Features, And Fittings. They Should Also Stay Updated With The Latest Technology And Advancements In The Field.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Hearing Aid Dispenser, The Candidate Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential For This Role.

  • Customer Service Experience: Costco Wholesale Has A Strong Focus On Providing Exceptional Customer Service. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role And Be Able To Deliver A High Level Of Service To Customers.

  • Sales Experience: In Addition To Providing Hearing Aid Services, The Candidate Will Also Be Responsible For Selling Hearing Aids And Related Products. Previous Experience In Sales And A Proven Track Record Of Meeting Sales Targets Would Be Beneficial For This Role.
