  1. Conduct hearing tests and accurately assess individual needs.
  2. Recommend and fit hearing aids based on individual needs and preferences.
  3. Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions and hearing aid fittings.
  4. Educate customers on proper use and care of hearing aids.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions.
  6. Stay up-to-date on new developments and technologies in the audiology field.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience.
  8. Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  9. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
  10. Continuously strive to improve and enhance the customer experience.
  11. Attend trainings and workshops to further develop skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • State License: A Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser At Costco Wholesale Must Hold A Valid State License To Practice In The State In Which They Will Be Working.

  • Relevant Education: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. Additionally, A Degree Or Certificate In Audiology, Hearing Aid Technology, Or A Related Field Is Preferred.

  • Prior Experience: Costco Wholesale Prefers Candidates With At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Fitting And Dispensing Hearing Aids. Candidates With Experience In Customer Service Or Sales In A Healthcare Setting May Also Be Considered.

  • Knowledge Of Hearing Aid Technology: The Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Different Types Of Hearing Aids, Their Features, And How To Properly Fit And Adjust Them For Each Individual's Needs.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role As The Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser Will Be Working Closely With Customers To Assess Their Hearing Needs And Provide Appropriate Solutions. They Must Also Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Other Healthcare Professionals And Costco Team Members.
