  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery plan for all IT systems and infrastructure at Costco Wholesale.
  2. Define and communicate disaster recovery procedures and protocols to ensure swift and effective response in the event of an unexpected event.
  3. Monitor and assess potential risks to the IT infrastructure and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on operations.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of disaster recovery plans with business continuity and crisis management strategies.
  5. Conduct regular testing and drills to evaluate the effectiveness of the disaster recovery plan and make necessary improvements.
  6. Research and evaluate new technologies and trends in disaster recovery to enhance and optimize Costco Wholesale's capabilities.
  7. Manage and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to support disaster recovery efforts.
  8. Lead and direct a team of IT professionals to execute disaster recovery plans and initiatives.
  9. Analyze and report on disaster recovery metrics to senior management and make recommendations for improvement.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and compliance requirements related to disaster recovery.
  11. Collaborate with IT security team to ensure disaster recovery plans are in compliance with security policies and procedures.
  12. Provide training and support to employees to increase awareness and understanding of disaster recovery protocols.
  13. Manage budget and resources for disaster recovery initiatives, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  14. Communicate with stakeholders and provide timely updates on the status of disaster recovery efforts.
  15. Continuously review and improve disaster recovery processes to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In It Project Management, Specifically In Disaster Recovery Planning And Implementation

  • Knowledge And Experience With Disaster Recovery Best Practices, Including Data Backup, System Redundancy, And Business Continuity Planning

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders

  • Experience With Project Management Tools And Methodologies, Such As Agile Or Waterfall, And A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Projects On Time And Within Budget.
