  12. Attend training and professional development activities to stay current in the field of audiology.
  13. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards related to hearing care services.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  15. Act as a brand ambassador for Costco Wholesale and represent the company in a positive light.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Audiology Or Related Field: A Hearing Aid Specialist At Costco Wholesale Should Have A Strong Educational Background In Audiology Or A Related Field To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Ear Anatomy, Hearing Disorders, And Hearing Aid Technology.

  • State Licensure: Many States Require Hearing Aid Specialists To Be Licensed In Order To Practice. Candidates Should Have A Current And Valid License To Practice Audiology Or Dispense Hearing Aids In The State Where Costco Wholesale Is Located.

  • Certification From A Recognized Organization: Costco Wholesale May Prefer Candidates Who Are Certified By A Recognized Organization Such As The American Board Of Audiology (Aba) Or The International Hearing Society (Ihs). This Certification Demonstrates The Candidate's Expertise And Commitment To The Field.

  • Previous Experience In A Similar Role: While Not Always A Requirement, Having Previous Experience As A Hearing Aid Specialist Can Be Beneficial In Understanding Costco Wholesale's Specific Policies And Procedures Related To Hearing Aid Dispensing.
