- Greet and welcome members to Costco Wholesale in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing any concerns members may have.
- Work with team members to ensure efficient and timely food service.
- Prepare and serve food items according to Costco's standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized food service area, including regularly cleaning equipment and restocking supplies.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and satisfaction of members.
- Keep track of inventory and communicate with management to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Assist in creating and maintaining appealing and well-stocked displays of food items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment.
- Continuously strive to improve the quality of food service and address any member feedback.
- Remain knowledgeable about Costco's products and services in order to effectively assist members.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Attend training and development sessions to improve skills and knowledge of food service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience In Food Service Industry: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Food Service Environment, Preferably In A Fast-Paced Setting. This Could Include Experience In A Restaurant, Cafeteria, Or Other Food Service Establishment.
Knowledge Of Food Safety Regulations: A Food Service Assistant Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Food Safety Regulations And Procedures. This Includes Knowledge Of Proper Food Handling, Storage, And Sanitation Practices.
Customer Service Skills: Costco Wholesale Places A High Emphasis On Providing Excellent Customer Service. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Interact With Customers In A Friendly And Professional Manner.
Physical Stamina: This Job May Require Standing For Long Periods Of Time, Lifting Heavy Objects, And Working In A Fast-Paced Environment. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Demands Of The Job.
Team Player: The Food Service Assistant Will Work Closely With Other Team Members, Including Cooks, Servers, And Cashiers. Candidates Should Be Able To Work Well In A Team Setting, Taking Direction From Supervisors And Collaborating With Others To Ensure Efficient Operations.
