- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our members.
- Assist in the preparation and stocking of food and beverage items, ensuring that all products are fresh and properly displayed.
- Operate and maintain food service equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate manager.
- Communicate effectively with team members and managers to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the food service department.
- Continuously strive to improve the overall customer experience by taking feedback, addressing concerns, and making suggestions for improvements.
- Remain knowledgeable about Costco Wholesale policies, products, and services, and be able to provide accurate information to members.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Experience In The Food Service Industry: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Food Service Environment, Such As A Restaurant, Cafeteria, Or Catering Company.
Knowledge Of Food Safety And Sanitation Standards: Food Service Assistants At Costco Wholesale Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Proper Food Handling And Storage Techniques To Ensure The Safety And Quality Of The Products Being Served.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Costco Wholesale Is A Busy Retail Store And The Food Court Can Get Very Busy During Peak Hours. Candidates Should Be Able To Work Efficiently And Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Strong Customer Service Skills: As A Food Service Assistant, Candidates Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. They Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And A Friendly Demeanor To Provide Exceptional Customer Service.
