Director - SOX Controllership

The Director - SOX Controllership will have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field• At least 8 years of experience in SOX compliance and financial control• Strong working knowledge of accounting processes, procedures and financial reporting• Proven track record of success in developing and implementing process improvements• Outstanding leadership, management, and communication skills• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement process improvements for SOX compliance and financial control.
2. Monitor SOX compliance requirements and financial control.
3. Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
4. Prepare financial control documents.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and regulators.
6. Provide training and guidance to staff and other stakeholders.
7. Create reports and presentations to support decision-making.
8. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
9. Develop and enforce internal control policies.
10. Provide leadership and guidance to staff.
