Data Engineer - IT Sustainability

Costco Wholesale is looking for an experienced, passionate and driven Data Engineer to join our IT Sustainability team. As the Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing data solutions and initiatives to support the company’s sustainability goals. You will also be tasked with designing, developing and improving data models, ETL processes and data pipelines.The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field, as well as advanced knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes. You should also have advanced experience in database administration and design, as well as experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL. In addition, you should have a strong understanding of data security and privacy protocols, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.We are looking for a Data Engineer who is excited to contribute to the IT Sustainability team by developing and maintaining data solutions that will help us reach our sustainability goals.
