- Oversee and manage the daily operations of multiple distribution centers within the designated area.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity in the distribution centers.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and take necessary action to achieve targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Provide leadership and direction to the logistics team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise in the distribution centers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve logistics processes.
- Prepare and present reports on the performance of the distribution centers to senior management.
- Manage and control departmental budgets and expenses.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, as needed.
Knowledge Of Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management, And Transportation Logistics.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Logistics, Distribution, Or Supply Chain Management.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills.
Ability To Analyze Data And Make Strategic Decisions To Improve Efficiency And Reduce Costs.
