- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the logistics department, including managing a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity within the distribution centers.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Ensure that all distribution centers are operating in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and inventory management, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to stores.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and proper handling of merchandise.
- Train and develop team members to maintain a high level of performance and customer service.
- Work closely with vendors and carriers to negotiate pricing and maintain strong relationships.
- Monitor and control distribution center expenses to meet budgetary goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by team members, customers, or management in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards within the distribution centers.
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Logistics Or Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Warehouse Or Distribution Center Setting.
Proven Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of At Least 20 Employees.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities, With Experience In Process Improvement And Cost Reduction Initiatives.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Build Relationships With Vendors And Carriers.
