Welcome to Costco Wholesale! We are excited to announce an opening for a Cloud Engineer - Cloud Foundational Engineering to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in cloud computing and a passion for innovation.   1. Develop and implement cloud infrastructure solutions to support the company's operations.
  2. Maintain and optimize existing cloud infrastructure to ensure high performance and efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges with the cloud infrastructure.
  5. Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends related to cloud computing.
  6. Conduct regular performance and security audits of the cloud infrastructure.
  7. Work with vendors and service providers to manage and maintain cloud services.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation related to the cloud infrastructure.
  9. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve the cloud infrastructure to meet the company's evolving needs.
  11. Identify and implement cost-saving measures for the cloud infrastructure.
  12. Collaborate with developers and other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration of applications with the cloud infrastructure.
  13. Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  14. Adhere to security and compliance standards in all aspects of the cloud infrastructure.
  15. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to any cloud infrastructure emergencies in a timely manner.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cloud Technologies: A Cloud Engineer At Costco Wholesale Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Cloud Technologies Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud Platform. They Should Also Have Knowledge Of Different Cloud Services Like Ec2, S3, And Rds.

  • Experience With Cloud Migration: Costco Wholesale Is Constantly Expanding Its Operations, And A Cloud Engineer Should Have Experience In Migrating On-Premise Applications And Data To The Cloud. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of The Challenges And Best Practices Involved In Cloud Migrations.

  • Devops And Automation Skills: Costco Wholesale Values Efficiency And Agility, And A Cloud Engineer Should Have Experience In Devops Practices And Automation Tools Like Ansible, Chef, Or Puppet. They Should Also Have Experience In Ci/Cd Pipelines To Ensure A Smooth Deployment Process.

  • Security And Compliance Knowledge: As A Leading Retail Company, Costco Wholesale Handles Sensitive Customer Information, And The Cloud Engineer Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Security And Compliance Measures In The Cloud. They Should Be Familiar With Security Tools Like Iam, Waf, And Have Experience Implementing Security Best Practices.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills: The Role Of A Cloud Engineer At Costco Wholesale Involves Handling Complex Issues And Finding Solutions In A Fast-Paced Environment. They Should Have Excellent Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills, Along With The Ability To Work Under Pressure To Resolve Critical Issues.
