As a Business Center Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our business center locations.   1. Safely and efficiently operate a commercial truck to deliver goods to Costco business center locations.
  2. Plan and follow designated delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  3. Load and unload merchandise onto truck using proper lifting and safety techniques.
  4. Inspect and maintain truck to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  5. Communicate effectively with warehouse and business center staff to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
  6. Keep accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
  7. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies and procedures.
  8. Provide excellent customer service to business center staff, representing Costco in a professional and courteous manner.
  9. Keep up-to-date on product knowledge and any changes in delivery procedures.
  10. Comply with all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  11. Report any accidents or incidents immediately to the appropriate personnel.
  12. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized truck to ensure the safe and sanitary transportation of goods.
  14. Act as a brand ambassador for Costco, promoting our commitment to high-quality products and services.
  15. Continuously strive to improve delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): Applicants For The Business Center Truck Driver Job At Costco Wholesale Must Possess A Valid Cdl, Class A Or B, With The Necessary Endorsements For The Type Of Vehicle They Will Be Operating.

  • Clean Driving Record: A Clean Driving Record Is Essential For A Business Center Truck Driver At Costco Wholesale. Candidates Should Have No Major Violations Or At-Fault Accidents In The Past Three Years.

  • Experience In Commercial Driving: Costco Wholesale Prefers Candidates With Prior Experience In Commercial Driving, Specifically In Operating Large Trucks. This Experience Should Include Loading And Unloading Cargo Safely And Efficiently.

  • Physical Fitness: As A Business Center Truck Driver At Costco Wholesale, Applicants Will Be Required To Load And Unload Heavy Cargo, Operate A Forklift, And Perform Other Physically Demanding Tasks. Therefore, Physical Fitness And The Ability To Lift Up To 50 Pounds Is Necessary For This Job.
