1. Drive a tractor-trailer truck to transport merchandise to various business center locations.
2. Load and unload merchandise from the truck using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
3. Ensure timely delivery of merchandise to meet business center needs and schedules.
4. Maintain accurate delivery records and update delivery logs as necessary.
5. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure safe and efficient operation.
6. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, business center staff, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
7. Adhere to all safety regulations and follow proper procedures for handling merchandise to prevent damage.
8. Keep the truck clean and well-maintained at all times, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
9. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and maintain a clean driving record.
10. Continuously monitor and report any changes in delivery schedules or routes to ensure timely delivery.
11. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate and efficient loading and unloading of merchandise.
12. Act as a brand ambassador for Costco Wholesale, providing exceptional service to our members at all times.
13. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times when interacting with members, business center staff, and other Costco employees.
14. Continuously monitor and report any changes in delivery schedules or routes to ensure timely delivery.
15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the management team.
