- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of Costco's business processes and data needs.
- Design and implement Microstrategy-based business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot data quality issues to ensure accuracy and completeness of reports and analyses.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to data warehousing, business intelligence, and Microstrategy.
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and ETL processes to support data integration and reporting needs.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure a smooth adoption and utilization of the BI solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and deliver on ad-hoc data requests and projects.
- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions to ensure efficient and effective delivery of data insights.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and recommendations on data architecture and BI best practices to drive innovation and improvement within the organization.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Microstrategy: The Bi Architect Must Have A Strong Understanding Of The Microstrategy Platform, Including Its Features, Functions, And Capabilities. They Should Also Have Experience In Implementing And Customizing Microstrategy Solutions To Meet Business Needs.
Experience In Data Warehousing And Etl Processes: The Bi Architect Should Be Well-Versed In Data Warehousing Concepts And Have Experience With Etl Tools Such As Informatica Or Talend. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Data Models That Support Microstrategy Reporting And Analytics.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Bi Architect, The Candidate Must Have Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Resolve Complex Data And Reporting Issues. They Should Also Be Able To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Gather Requirements And Design Solutions.
Project Management Experience: The Bi Architect Should Have Experience In Managing Bi Projects From Conception To Delivery. They Should Be Able To Create Project Plans, Manage Timelines And Resources, And Communicate Project Updates To Stakeholders.
Communication And Leadership Skills: Costco Wholesale Values Effective Communication And Leadership Skills In Its Employees. The Bi Architect Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders And Lead A Team Of Developers And Analysts To Deliver High-Quality Solutions.
