  1. Oversee all aspects of inbound mailroom operations, including sorting, processing, and distribution of incoming mail.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming mail, meeting established deadlines and quality standards.
  3. Train and supervise a team of mailroom personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of mailroom supplies, ordering as needed to ensure efficient operations.
  5. Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the mailroom, continually seeking ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Keep track of incoming mail volume and adjust staffing levels as necessary to meet demand.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized mailroom environment, adhering to safety and security protocols.
  8. Communicate with other departments and external vendors to resolve any issues or delays in mail processing.
  9. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  10. Provide regular reports on mailroom performance and identify areas for improvement.
  11. Serve as a liaison between the mailroom and other departments, promoting positive working relationships and effective communication.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mailroom technology, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
  13. Handle any escalated issues or complaints from clients or team members in a professional and timely manner.
  14. Uphold company values and standards, setting a positive example for the team.
  15. Continuously monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve overall productivity and quality of work.

Job Qualifications
  • Prior Experience In A Mailroom Or Inbound Mail Processing Role, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Capacity.

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Accurately Process And Track Large Volumes Of Incoming Mail.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Supervise A Team Of Employees.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Software, With The Ability To Learn And Adapt To New Systems Quickly.

  • Knowledge Of Standard Mailing Procedures And Equipment, Such As Postage Meters And Sorting Machines, As Well As Experience With Mailroom Safety And Security Protocols.
