  1. Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that data protection practices are integrated into all business processes.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for all data protection inquiries and incidents.
  5. Monitor data protection systems and procedures to identify and respond to potential breaches.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in data protection laws and regulations.
  7. Train employees on data protection policies and procedures.
  8. Conduct regular data protection trainings and workshops to increase awareness and compliance.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and industry partners.
  10. Act as a liaison between the company and clients to address any data protection concerns or issues.
  11. Analyze and report on data protection metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
  12. Collaborate with the legal team to ensure that all data protection practices are in line with contractual requirements.
  13. Participate in data protection impact assessments for new projects and initiatives.
  14. Investigate and respond to data subject access requests and other data protection-related inquiries.
  15. Continuously assess and improve data protection processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of data security.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Data Protection Laws And Regulations: A Data Protection Specialist At Conduent Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Data Protection Laws And Regulations, Such As Gdpr, Ccpa, And Hipaa. This Includes Knowledge Of Data Privacy Principles, Data Transfer Regulations, And Data Breach Reporting Requirements.

  • Experience With Data Protection Frameworks And Best Practices: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Implementing And Maintaining Data Protection Frameworks And Best Practices, Such As Iso 27001 And Nist Cybersecurity Framework. This Includes Conducting Risk Assessments, Developing Data Protection Policies And Procedures, And Providing Training To Employees.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Data Protection Specialist Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Data Protection Issues, Identify Potential Risks, And Develop Effective Solutions. This Requires Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, As Well As The Ability To Think Critically And Make Sound Decisions.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: Conduent's Data Protection Specialist Will Be Required To Work Closely With Various Teams And Stakeholders, Including Legal, It, And Business Units. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For Effectively Communicating Data Protection Policies And Procedures, And Ensuring Compliance Across The Organization.

  • Relevant Education And Certifications: A Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Or Data Protection, Is Typically Required For This Role. Additionally, Certifications Such As Certified Information Privacy Professional (Cipp) Or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp) Can Demonstrate A Candidate's Knowledge And Commitment To The Field Of Data Protection.
