1. Develop and implement cross-cultural ministry programs and initiatives that align with the mission and values of Concordia University Irvine.
2. Provide leadership and vision for the Cross-cultural Ministry Center, setting and achieving goals and objectives in collaboration with university leadership.
3. Foster relationships with students, faculty, and community partners to create meaningful and impactful cross-cultural experiences for students.
4. Oversee the planning and execution of cross-cultural trips, events, and activities, ensuring they are safe, culturally sensitive, and educational.
5. Recruit, train, and supervise staff and volunteers involved in cross-cultural ministry initiatives.
6. Collaborate with other departments and organizations to promote cross-cultural understanding and diversity on campus.
7. Develop and manage the budget for the Cross-cultural Ministry Center, ensuring responsible and efficient use of resources.
8. Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of cross-cultural programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
9. Serve as a mentor and spiritual guide for students involved in cross-cultural ministry, providing support and guidance as they navigate their faith and cultural experiences.
10. Stay updated on current trends and best practices in cross-cultural ministry, incorporating them into program development and implementation.
11. Represent Concordia University Irvine and the Cross-cultural Ministry Center at conferences, events, and other external engagements.
12. Uphold and promote the mission and values of Concordia University Irvine and the Cross-cultural Ministry Center in all interactions and communications.
