
Materials Engineer- Polymers and Resins

The ideal candidate has a passion for advancing their technical skills, and will be comfortable with a wide range of materials and processes.The successful candidate will have a degree in materials engineering, chemistry, or a related field, as well as a minimum of three years of experience in materials engineering. In addition, experience with polymers and resins is essential. The ideal candidate will also have a deep understanding of polymer and resin science, as well as the ability to interpret and troubleshoot test results. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test materials using polymers and resins
- Interpret and analyze test results and provide solutions for any issues
- Maintain and update material documentation and other records
- Ensure regulatory and safety compliance
- Monitor and adjust material processing and production
- Develop and optimize material formulations to meet customer requirements
- Investigate and recommend new materials and processes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure process consistency
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians
- Develop and provide technical support for customers
- Foster relationships with material vendors and suppliers
Bachelor's Degree Or Higher In Materials Science
Engineering
Or Related Field
Knowledge Of Polymer And Resin Processing And Production
Familiarity With Resin Compounding
Experience Working With A Variety Of Materials
Including Polymers And Resins
Ability To Read And Interpret Engineering Drawings
