In addition, experience with polymers and resins is essential. The ideal candidate will also have a deep understanding of polymer and resin science, as well as the ability to interpret and troubleshoot test results. Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and test materials using polymers and resins
2. Interpret and analyze test results and provide solutions for any issues
3. Maintain and update material documentation and other records
4. Ensure regulatory and safety compliance
5. Monitor and adjust material processing and production
6. Develop and optimize material formulations to meet customer requirements
7. Investigate and recommend new materials and processes
8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure process consistency
9. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians
10. Develop and provide technical support for customers
11. Foster relationships with material vendors and suppliers
