Job Description

  1. Develop and implement operational risk and compliance testing strategies and methodologies in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  2. Conduct regular and thorough testing of internal processes and controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Identify and assess potential risks within the organization and make recommendations for mitigation and remediation.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all areas of the organization are aware of compliance requirements and actively work to maintain a culture of compliance.
  5. Monitor and analyze regulatory developments to ensure that all testing and procedures are up-to-date and in compliance with current laws and regulations.
  6. Prepare and present reports to senior management on the results of compliance testing and any identified areas of concern or improvement.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external regulators and auditors to facilitate effective communication and understanding of compliance requirements.
  8. Train and educate staff on compliance policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a thorough understanding and adherence to all requirements.
  9. Lead and manage a team of compliance testers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of operational risk and compliance testing processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  11. Serve as a subject matter expert on all matters related to operational risk and compliance testing.
  12. Collaborate with other risk management and compliance teams to identify and implement cross-functional initiatives for improving overall risk management within the organization.
  13. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all compliance testing activities and results.
  14. Foster a positive and ethical work environment that promotes a strong culture of compliance and risk management.
  15. Represent the organization and its values in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Operational Risk Management, Compliance Testing, Or Audit.

  • Strong Understanding Of Banking Regulations And Compliance Requirements, Particularly In The Areas Of Consumer Protection, Anti-Money Laundering, And Data Privacy.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Risk Management Processes And Controls, And Conducting Compliance Testing And Monitoring Activities.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Stakeholders.
