- Oversee and manage the final stages of the loan process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations.
- Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and other team members to ensure a smooth and timely closing process for our clients.
- Review loan documents and ensure all necessary information and signatures are gathered and accurate.
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in the loan closing process to obtain any missing information or documentation.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all loan products, policies, and procedures to accurately guide clients through the closing process.
- Review and verify loan documents for accuracy and completeness, including loan terms, interest rates, and fees.
- Coordinate with title companies, appraisers, and other necessary third parties to obtain required documentation and ensure timely closings.
- Ensure all loan closing documents are prepared and executed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding promptly to inquiries and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on industry and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide guidance to team members as needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized loan files and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Assist in training and mentoring new loan closing officers as needed.
- Represent Comerica Bank in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Loan Closing Or Mortgage Industry.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Loan Closing And Documentation.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers, Attorneys, And Other Stakeholders.
