- Conduct thorough credit analysis for clients to determine risk level and make recommendations for credit decisions.
- Review financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to gather necessary information for credit analysis.
- Communicate with clients to gather additional information and clarify any discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and present findings to management for review and decision making.
- Monitor and assess ongoing credit risk for existing clients and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to credit analysis and make suggestions for process improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as loan officers and underwriters, to ensure timely and accurate completion of credit analysis.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of credit analysis and related documents.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries and providing clear explanations of credit decisions.
- Proactively identify potential issues and risks related to credit analysis and escalate to management as needed.
- Train and mentor junior credit analysts and assist in their professional development.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards while performing credit analysis.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving overall performance and client satisfaction.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve credit analysis processes and procedures for increased efficiency and accuracy.
- Uphold the reputation and values of Comerica Bank by representing the organization with professionalism and integrity.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Financial Statements And Credit Risk Assessment.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Credit Analysis, Preferably In A Banking Or Financial Institution.
Familiarity With Credit Analysis Software, Such As Moody's Risk Analyst Or Creditedge.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Present Complex Financial Information To Clients And Team Members.
