Key contact for Accounting Department on technology implementation initiatives impacting the financial ecosystem, particularly accounting and reporting sub-systems. Proactively identify opportunities to create operational efficiencies. Collaborate with the Accounting, Financial Systems Support and IT Departments to solve existing business problems using information technology or the enhancement of reporting/analytical tools. Assist with implementation of automating certain processes or using advanced analytics to effectuate more efficient accounting and reporting processes. Train and support accounting team members and other general ledger stakeholders in the use of core accounting systems and procedural changes resulting from system conversions or implementations. Assist in resolution of accounting system-related issues. Provide support to the Accounting Systems Manager as appropriate.
