Sr. Engineer - Site Reliability Engineering

Comcast is looking for an experienced Sr. Engineer to join our Site Reliability Engineering team. This highly technical position requires a combination of strong engineering and systems administration skills. The successful candidate will have a passion for problem solving, a strong commitment to automation, and a drive to deliver reliable, high quality services and solutions.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, experience with cloud services, a working knowledge of Linux/Unix, and experience with automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, and Ansible. Expertise in scripting languages such as Python and Bash, as well as experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes are also highly desirable.In addition to the technical qualifications, the successful candidate must have excellent communication and collaboration skills, strong organizational and problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
