- Conduct thorough and accurate audits of financial processes and operations, including but not limited to revenue recognition, expense management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify and assess potential risks and deficiencies in financial operations and make appropriate recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective controls to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency.
- Review financial data and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial auditing and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Train and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives related to financial operations as assigned.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards while performing job duties.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and data.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the internal audit process to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on financial processes and provide guidance and support to other teams within the company.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Extensive Experience In Auditing Financial Operations: A Senior Auditor At Comcast Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Auditing Financial Operations, With A Strong Understanding Of Accounting Principles And Financial Reporting Standards.
Strong Knowledge Of Industry Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Regulations Such As Gaap, Sox, And Sec Regulations, And Should Be Able To Apply Them Effectively In The Audit Process.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Auditor Should Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify Potential Risks And Issues In Financial Operations And Recommend Appropriate Solutions.
Leadership And Project Management Experience: The Candidate Should Have Experience Leading Audit Teams And Managing Multiple Audit Projects Simultaneously. They Should Also Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Liaise With Various Stakeholders.
Professional Certifications: A Senior Auditor At Comcast Should Hold A Professional Certification Such As Cpa, Cia, Or Cisa. These Certifications Demonstrate A High Level Of Expertise And Commitment To The Auditing Profession.
