Network Engineer

Responsible to follow architectural and engineering guidelines for the deployment of capacity and product expansion across Comcast's national Converged IP Network. Utilizes direction given by senior engineering team for adoption of new standards and technologies. Manages performance of network for load, capacity and transactions. Responsible for tactical execution of new deployments to produce smooth beta/launch of new integrated voice, video and data products across a Converged network. Follows evolution plan for converged network to enhance capabilities and operational effectiveness of infrastructure. Serves as execution resource for adjacent product and engineering teams to ensure smooth introduction of new products. Produces details designs, SMOP and operations execution plans for network change and evolution.
