Assist with developing and implementing a risk assessment framework to evaluate financial statement line items and the related accounting, financial reporting, processes, and information systems. Identify areas for improvement as it relates to internal controls and financial reporting. Collaborate with internal controls team to evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal control activities. Partner with cross-functional teams within Corporate Accounting & Reporting and the divisions to evaluate accounting matters, business initiatives, policies, and processes, and apply professional judgement to assess risks and the controls environment. Perform accounting research and peer reviews as needed to strengthen knowledge on accounting topics and industry views. Monitor the changing business environment and emerging risks for financial reporting.
